Let’s talk about Rafa
But which Rafa?
Sooo, my name is Rafa. I’m the newest edition of the Rafa Cabeza legacy. Even though literally nobody calls me Rafael, my dad insists he’s got exclusive rights to “Rafa,” so at home, I’m stuck with “Rafael”, you know, to avoid name conflicts.
I was born in Vigo, right by the sea, and ever since I was a kid, anything related to art caught my attention. I’m a huge cinema and theatre enthusiast, and honestly, I’ve been acting and obsessing over films for as long as I can remember.
Since I first learned to talk, I kept telling everyone I wanted to be an actor. But when it came to choosing a career, I somehow found myself studying computer science—slightly nudged by my parents, who saw something magical in me the moments I heroically fixed our wifi by turning it off and back on again.
Despite this unexpected turn, I’ve embraced my inner IT guy, and honestly, I really enjoy being a computer boy now.

In all my projects, I can’t help but mix in my love for art and creativity. So, if you find me getting suspiciously personal even when writing something as simple as a webpage description for an university project, that’s exactly why.
Outside the techy world, my main creative outlet is photography, especially analog. My grandad, the OG Rafa Cabeza, passed down his old film camera to me, and since then, there’s no way anyone can separate me from capturing life’s little details on film.
I genuinely love blending art and tech, and I’m super excited to see where this quirky combo takes me next.
And hey, if you’re an art enthusiast too, send me your Letterboxd username ASAP, and let’s passionately debate movies and share our brilliant takes on the world around us!
I’ll be mostly behind the camera…

…but sometimes in front of the objective
Where to find me?
Letterboxd
Hands down the most personal app I own, my entire digital footprint, my life’s legacy. When I kick the bucket, this is literally all my kids will inherit. Worth a fortune.
Here lies my entire existence, you can either stalk me and share with the world the kind of person I am for rating Notting Hill one and a half stars, or you can join me and see just how wonderfully wild and fascinating movies can truly get. It’s up to you.
Still a work in progress… You might stumble upon my 2019 attempt at posting, but I’ll let you know once I actually commit to building a proper personal feed.
Oh… okay, I mean, sure, why not.
Gotta admit I barely use it, but hey, if you’ve got a project that could make us both millionaires (or at least afford good coffee), don’t hesitate to slide into my DMs.
